Another month has sped on by already, goodness gracious me! And it’s been a month filled with a lot of lovely products – a lot of which are relatively new to my beauty stash.

We’ll kick off with skincare, and the one and only item, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Serumwhich has very quickly become something of a skincare staple round these parts thanks to its brilliant acid exfoliation abilities. It makes my skin oh-so soft and smooth come morning and I love it. Speaking of soft (see what I did there?) I’ve become a big old fan of the Ciate Beautiful Cuticles Marula Oil which makes it so super easy to hydrate my (incredibly) dry cuticles on the go. I just pop it into my handbag and whip it out anywhere I wish, be it at work, on the subway – you name it.

Moving on to the hair, say hello ladies and gentlemen to the John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt SprayHoly moly I can’t tell you how good this stuff smells – like a coconutty, ocean-scented dream. It, quite literally, smells like holidays and I just can’t get enough. Plus it adds some ruddy delightful texture to my hair which goes down a real treat.

Now for the make up and the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24-Hour FoundationI have raved about this at length already in the past week, so I’m going to shuddup and just reiterate – it’s greatSeriously. So too is the Milani Baked Blush in Rose D’Oro (that’s rose gold to you and me!) which adds such a beautiful flush to my cheeks, while also giving them a lovely golden glow.

And when I really want to bump up the glow factor, I also turn to the Physicians Formula Happy Booster Glow and Mood Boosting Powdera shimmery – but not too shimmery – bronzing powder which gives that great sun-kissed look to my complexion and makes it appear as though I’ve actually seen sunshine in the past month.

Then it’s on to lips and tips; the KIKO Luscious Punk Lip Liner is working wonders at helping my lipstick to a) remain within my lips and not smudged around them, and b) ensuring my lipsticks lasts a lot longer throughout the day. Two thumbs way up. And for a brilliant budget buy this month, there is my new Claire’s Nail Polish in this great pale mint aqua colour – it’s like the perfect mix of the Essie Mint Candy Apple and the Barry M Sugar Apple. It’s a brilliant apple-y bit of perfection.

So yes, it’s been a brilliant month for beauty. Now here’s hoping April is just as ace!

  1. I’ve purchased the L’Oreal Infallible foundation and i’m yet to use it. How do you think it works for you?

Is the La Roche-Posay Serum meant for blemish skin? Does it help with spots? I am a big fan of the brand, but have never heard of it 🙂
