I’ve been having some serious trouble with my energy levels recently; I just feel so tired all of the time. I’m sleeping through alarms, falling asleep while watching TV, falling asleep on the train, feeling desperately tired at work and struggling so much to even get out of bed in the morning.

Now, I feel like I’ve tried all of the usual tricks – eating more fresh food, trying to go to bed early… The list goes on. And yet nothing has really worked thus far. And here I am, on a Sunday morning at 9.30am, in bed and feeling seriously sleepy, despite having had a good seven hours of sleep.

So, ladies and gents, I thought why not check with you clever people and see if you have any suggestions on how I might be able to leap over this lethargic lump….? What do you guys do to keep motivated and energised throughout the day?

You need to take Vit B supplements or injections. It can really give you a physical and emotional boost.

    1. Oooh I’ll give them a try, thank you! xx

  2. Ugh I’m the same – I feel like a Vitamin supplement is definitely a good idea – vit D as well, I think. I like using a Lumie light to wake up (though still need my alarm) and drinking hot lemon water with ginger first thing.

    1. I’ve actually got a Lumie on order… Here’s hoping it helps! xxx

I find that working out first thing in the morning gives me that boost of energy I need, along with a great balanced diet. I know getting out of the house to go workout can be very hard, but I find that I feel 100% better after I do that.

    1. You have much better willpower than I do! I’m so jealous! I’m trying to eat more healthily which is really helping – but find that I have so much more energy in the evenings than I do in the mornings, which is very bizarre… x

Do you get tired after eating? It’s normal to need to slow and digest, but if you are left with absolute lethargy after you eat, maybe you have a gluten/wheat issue. I know it’s ‘trendy’ to go gluten-free, but some people need to because it’s destroying their health. Some are celiac or allergic/sensitive. Do you get super itchy on your skin? That might be another sign. Google symptoms to see. I hope you regain some energy. 🙂
