* snowshine *

It’s been a delightful week in NYC, with the only slight negative being the mounds (and mounds) of slushy, icy snow that are currently lining the streets. To say that I am finding it a bit tricky to navigate myself around the city without landing on my arse or face would be a bit of an understatement… It’s nigh on impossible!

But other than that, this week has been a good ‘un – hence the reason why this post is coming to you a day (and a half…!) late.

Don’t worry folks, I’ll be back in proper action tomorrow, but for now, some of my weekly favourites…

Five favourites

Place: Wandering round the city has become a new favourite hobby – despite my serious lack of directional awareness. But just being out and about in Manhattan is probably where I’m enjoying being most at the moment.

Food: Last weekend, a friend and I went to try out a Spaghetti Sandwich at M Wells in Long Island City. Sounds gross, tastes awesome.

Experience: I was lucky enough to get the chance to try out an immense hair treatment/cut at Julien Farel’s salon at the start of the week and it was just the most brilliant of experiences. And this is coming from someone who hates haircuts, so…

Read/watch: I finished Lauren Oliver’s Requiem trilogy and am now on the hunt for something new to read, if you guys have any recommendations?

Beauty bit: Following on from last week, I’m going to have to say the Kat Von D Tattoo LinerEasy to apply, long-lasting, super black, it’s really just an all-around ace product.

Have a good weekend everyone and don’t forget to follow me over on Instagram and @CharlieLanks!
