In the lead up to Christmas, I was lucky enough to be counting down the days to my favourite holiday with The Body Shop Advent Calendar, which was full to the brim with some of the brand’s best and most-loved products, many of which I had never had a chance to try before.

So, with a cupboard practically bursting open thanks to all of The Body Shop brilliance inside, I prepared to work my way through all of those different beauty bits and pieces – and, in the process, I’ve found some seriously superb new items that have quickly worked their way up my list of most-used products.

At the top of that list? The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body LotionI have already worked my way through this entire bottle – and it really isn’t that small a sample…! – and as soon as I noticed my supplies were dwindling, I immediately placed an order for another. Everything about this product is just wonderful, from the sweet, yet nutty fragrance to the incredible softening effect that it has on my skin. It’s just dreamy.

Then we have The Body Shop Honey Lip BalmWhile I initially thought this stuff would be a bit sticky and ‘orrible to apply – yes, I judged it by its name, my bad – as soon as I applied it for the first time, I was totally hooked. It smells sweet, yet not overpowering, and feels incredibly smooth and supple when you slick it on, but doesn’t leave a horrible sticky residue. Plus, I’m convinced it has helped to work some serious wonders on my cold weather-beaten lips.

So too has The Body Shop Vitamin E Night CreamI won’t lie and claim that this formula boasts a whole heap of fancy ingredients and gimmicky promises, but that’s exactly what makes it so ruddy effective and enjoyable to use. It feels really nourishing on the skin, it sinks in smoothly without any trace leftover and it just makes my skin feel so soft and cared for. On days when my complexion is feeling particularly weather-worn, I like to use this alongside a face oil and that’s sure to zap any dryness once and for all.

Last up is a bit of an odd one, but it’s The Body Shop Strawberry SoapI think I received three of these in total from the advent calendar, in a variety of scents, and I think they just look so lovely in my bathroom, all collected together in my soap dish. Plus, they smell unreal. Even when you’re not using them, they let off a sweet subtle scents that leaves my bathroom smelling beautifully fragrant. In terms of the formula, they aren’t drying on my hands like a lot of other hard soaps and they, um, clean everything! Which is great!

What products are you guys loving at the moment? Any other Body Shop bits you’d like to recommend?
