I seem to be working my way through a fair few beauty products these days – which is normally something of a rarity, given how many different bits and pieces I keep in rotation.

So, let’s crack on with some of my favourites.

First up, the L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm ($5.99)which is probably my all-time favourite haircare product at the moment. It is just superb. My hair looks and feels so much healthier than it ever as, and I genuinely think it’s all because of this bad boy. Needless to say its already been repurchased – in fact, it’s already half empty…!

Then we have the Darphin Anti-Dark Spots Perfecting Treatment ($95), which I’ve been using to try and combat my blemish scarring. And I have to admit, I’ve found it pretty darn effective when it comes to reducing the appearance of any discolouration – particularly scars that are new and fresh. Beyond that, it also leaves my skin feeling beautifully smooth, and it works really nicely as a base for make-up, which isn’t something I was expecting.

When it comes to nail polish, I am pretty darn fussy about top coats. I want a super shiny gel-effect finish, but without a thick and gloopy formula. Enter the Nails Inc Kensington Caviar Top Coat ($15)the perfect polish which does everything that I need it too – and more. I get that speedy dry time, the perfect gel finish – and the formula is incredibly easy to apply. Thank goodness for Sephora which is the only place I’ve managed to track this down here in the US.

Since moving to the US, one of my favourite beauty finds has been the Aveeno Ultra Calming Make Up Removing Wipes ($5.99)While I’m not usually a big wipe user, these have completely changed my mind. I still avoid using them regularly, but when I do, these are the only ones I’ll use from now on. They’re nourishing, cleansing, and actually really rather soothing. And I feel like they genuinely benefit my skin after I’ve used them. Again, another immediate repurchase.

Last – but by no means least – the Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic Spritzer ($25)I was devastated when I finished this. The formula is so brilliantly nourishing on my skin and help to calm any and all redness and inflammation, particularly when I’m suffering with a particularly blemish-y time. It’s been a staple in my skincare routine for years now – and I think I even included it in one of my very first posts on this blog! – but try as I might, I can’t find it anywhere here in the US. So if you guys know of anywhere… Let me know!

What brilliant products have you finished recently? Any I should try?

I am really interested in trying out those face wipes. Generally I find face wipes really drying and not particularly good for my skin. These seem like a good option. 🙂

    1. I haven’t had a single problem with these at all – they’ve been so nourishing on my skin, so would definitely suggest as a good option! x

Now I am intrigued on these Aveeno Ultra Calming Make Up Removing Wipes. I use make up wipes after my cleanisng oil to ensure it leaves my skin as clean and fresh as possible. I might have to look into these.

  4. Oh nice! I wish I could get all this amazing products where I live.
