Jo1 Jo2* jo malone christmas cracker // £32 *

Sorry not sorry kids, but it’s another festive post from me today!

I want to take a quick tick to sing the praises of one my my favourite beauty-themed Christmas presents that I seen on the shelves this year, the Jo Malone Christmas Cracker (£32)

To me, Jo Malone is one of those more luxurious brands that do Christmas oh-so well. Every year they come up with a dozen or so limited edition holiday products to help add a bit of festive fun to your purchase – and this cracker is one such item.

Filled with three sample-sized Jo Malone products – the Nectarine Blossom & Honey Body Crème (15ml), a Blackberry & Bay Body & Hand Wash (15ml) and a Lime Basil & Mandarin Cologne (9ml) – the cracker is one of the brand’s cheapest gift options, and yet still maintains that true sense of style and luxury that can’t be found anywhere else.

Needless to say, I’m completely smitten with the whole concept and would – if I could afford it! – love to have these sitting on each place setting come Christmas. What better way to treat your guests than with a bit of high-end beauty, eh?

For now, however, I’ll have to selfishly hoard my own cracker, while making do with tiny toys and sewing kits for everyone else. Maybe next year…!

For a single young woman in a pricey city you have a lot of money. Do you come from a wealthy family?

Just don’t get how you can afford to buy all those beauty products..

    1. Hi Marengo,

To be completely honest, I’m a bit surprised by your comment – first of all, I’m not single, I have a lovely boyfriend. However, I don’t think my relationship status has anything to do with whether or not I can afford certain things in life. I do live in a pricey city – one of the priciest in fact – but I have a full-time job in addition to my blog, which is really just a hobby. But a great one, which I really love and enjoy and am therefore willing to devote a lot of time, energy and money to it.

I am also extremely lucky in that I get sent the odd product from PRs. While this doesn’t happen every day – or even every week – it does help to balance out the cost of funding my beauty obsession!
