I’m getting back into the whole monthly beauty box thing; I’m really enjoying sampling new brands and products without having to spend a fortune and I’ve actually found some firm favourites in the process.
So when August’s Glossybox arrived on my doorstep earlier this week I was just a bit excited to check out the contents. While not the strongest of boxes, I was really happy to see another Glossybox-own product in the form of a beautiful highlighter and a great full-size product that I’ve already added to my skincare line-up ready to test out.
Now for a bit more detail…
∞ Comfort Zone Silkening Cleansing Milk Cream – The only full-size product in the box is actually a pretty great one in my opinion. I love trying out new cleansers and there’s actually a bit of a cleansing milk gap in my current collection which I’m hoping this bad boy will fill. The formula contains Sweet Almond Oil to gently break down make up and dirt and natural antioxidants to cleanse and refresh the face.
∞ Figs & Rouge Mango Mandarin Hand Cream – Holy moly this stuff smells awesome. Plus the formula is actually pretty nice – really nourishing without being too oily.
∞ Philip Kingsley Elasticizer – This is one of my all-time hair products so I was pretty pleased to see a good ole sample size included in here – just in time for my holiday…!
∞ Yves Rocher Nail Polish – As I mentioned back in this post, I’ve got quite into pink polishes of late so I’m pretty eager to try this one on for size. Plus the teeny tiny bottle is just. so. cute.
∞ Kryolan x Glossybox Highlighter in Cashmere – Goodness gracious I love a good highlighter and this custom-made product is no exception. The colour is nice and subtle – sheeny without being shimmery – and the formula blends really nicely into the skin. Plus the size makes it perfect to pop in your handbag.
∞ Lalique L’Amour Eau de Parfum – I can’t say I’m overly enamoured with this fragrance – it’s a little bit too floral for my tastes – but I can imagine a lot of people really liking it. One to share among friends for me…
What are your thoughts on this month’s Glossybox? Yay or nay?
