When I first gave into the hype and purchased the Caudalie Beauty Elixir (30ml £11.50)I have to admit I was prepared to be a bit unimpressed. I really didn’t think it was going to offer a whole heap more than a normal spray toner and it seemed like a lotta money to spend for something that was really only meant to refresh my face.

And as so often happens, it turns out I was completely wrong.

Although the Beauty Elixir is, in essence, a spray toner which promises to ‘hydrate and boost radiance’, it actually goes so much further than that and just leaves your skin feeling really bloody lovely. In terms of ingredients, this bad boy is packed to the brim with botanical goodness and won’t leave your skin feeling stripped or dry. Instead, post-spritz my skin feels so much softer and smoother – noticeably so in fact.

And can we talk about the smell? Let’s, because this boy has the most awesome fragrance. It’s like a super swanky spa all packaged up in one little bottle and I have to admit I find the scent so calming and relaxing, I often spray a bit on my face just before bed to add an extra chill factor to my evening routine.

Now I know this stuff ain’t the cheapest – and you’ll notice I’ve gone for the smaller bottle again, just in case – but in truth I really do feel like it’s worth it. Whether it falls under the every day staple category (which I really think I might for me these days) or the once-in-a-while luxury pile, I doubt you’ll feel it was a wasted purchase.Needless to say I’m already eyeing up the big bottle…

    1. Yes! I’ve just started using it to give my make up a bit of a boost mid-way through the day and it works a treat 🙂 xxx

  3. I should try this out, I’ve been looking for a good toner for my face but a lot of the ones I tried seem lackluster.
