Palettes are one of my biggest beauty weaknesses, particularly those filled with beautiful neutral shades. No matter how many I have, I can’t help but desperately lust after any new beauties on the block and it’s shaping up to be quite a pricey habit, if I’m honest. So when I happen upon a palette that offers an amazing selection of shades, a good quality of product and which has a price tag lower than £10, I can’t help but do a little dance of palette-y joy in celebration *demonstrates said dance*.

First up is a fairly new addition to my palette line-up but one which I know has been a favourite with a lot of bloggers for a long ole time (always late to the party, me), the Sleek MakeUp I-Divine Palette in Storm (£7.99). 12 beautifully pigmented shades in a variety of subtle nude shimmers and a few brighter bold shades. Pigmentation is ace, lasting power is pretty decent, particularly when paired with a primer and they tend to stay pretty crease-free for up to 6 or 7 hours. It’s already a firm budget favourite and if these colours aren’t your bag, the I-Divine comes in a wide variety of other shades.

Moving on to the Claire’s 10 Piece Natural Eyeshadow Palette (£8). This bad boy packs a really pigmented punch and the colours are pretty long-lasting. They do have a tendency to crease but when used with a primer can hold up pretty darn well. Similarly, the Wet n Wild Eyeshadow Collection in Comfort Zone ($3.99) offers really pigmented shades for a seriously impressive price and when you put a primer underneath, they’ll last all the live-long day.

Now on to a couple of smaller four-piece palettes. First up, on that I have raved about on numerous occasions, the NYC Quatro Eyeshadow in Best of Broadway (£2.99). These eyeshadows are just so brilliant given the super low price tag and I find myself reaching for it on many an occasion. If I fancy something a bit more taupe-y however, the W7 Naked Nudes (£4.99) offers some really good options. While not particularly pigmented, the shades are really buildable and their lasting power is pretty good too. A lot better than you would expect for such a low price, anyway!

And if that doesn’t satisfy your palette cravings, I already have my eye on the new Maybelline The Nudes palette which is due to drop in stores pretty darn soon. Race you to the tills…
