It’s very rare that I find a fragrance which makes me really excited about wearing it but when it does happen, it’s fair to say I get pretty darn obsessed. We’re talking several sniffs a day. Ok, an hour.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, you are looking at one such obsession-worthy scent, Elizabeth and James Nirvana White Perfumea beautiful new fragrance release which has me completely hooked – and I promise that’s not just because it was created by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen’s fashion label. Honest! What drew me in most about this scent was the way that it lingered and evolved on my skin all day. What started out as quite a heady floral fragrance developed over several hours to leave behind something much lighter and simpler but still so pretty.

To get a bit technical – you guys know how bad I am at the proper perfume chat – the main notes of the fragrance are peony, muguet and vanilla, all of which combine to create such a unique scent that’s every bit as fresh and floral as it is sweet and musky. And if that doesn’t float your boat, fret not, because there’s a sister Nirvana Black fragrance which is a bit richer with notes of violet, sandalwood and vanilla.

Frustratingly, this fragrance is currently only available at Sephora – great news for those of you lucky to live near one but slightly upsetting for those of you who, like me, have to go without. BUT Sephora do now ship to the UK so perhaps worth slipping in a smaller sample sized bottle if you’d like to give it a sniff – or several!

    1. I couldn’t stop sniffing them in Sephora and knew that I had to pick one up before I left the US. Now I’m lusting after Nirvana Black…! x
