That’s right folks, Sephora round two. Don’t worry though, this time I’ll keep things a bit briefer… For those of you that aren’t familiar with the Sephora Favourites sets, make sure you head to your nearest shop/their website to check them out – they have a ruddy ace selection of sample-size sets that include numerous sample-size versions of some seriously superb products.
So super are these sets in fact that I couldn’t resist picking up two while I was out in NYC. The first, the Sephora Favourites Meet Your Match, I spied while queuing – those queue sample selections got me every time – features a selection of mini lip products and nail polishes in coordinating shade pairs. The selection of beauty brands included is incredible and features a lot of products that I’ve been eager to try for a while now.
Nails Inc and Deborah Lippmann I’ve tried in the past (just look at those amazing colours though) but Sephora’s Formula X Nail Polish, the Bite Beauty Lush Fruit Lip Gloss, the Hourglass Extreme Sheen High Shine Lip Gloss and the Tarte Lipsurgence Lip Tint are all on my must-try list.
Next up we have the Sephora Favourites Summer Stash. This bad boy took several Sephora trips to track down – it was sold out in almost every store I visited. But I finally managed to lay my hands on it and holy moly am I glad I did. As well as featuring some long-time favourites – the cutest mini NARS Laguna Bronzer, Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in Mermaid’s Dream, Make Up For Ever Aqua Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner and the Urban Decay All Nighter Make Up Setting Spray – it features a whole heap of products that I have been desperate to try…
The Josie Maran Coconut Watercolor Cheek Gelée has been on my wishlist for ages, the Marc Jacobs Mini Lash Lifter Mascara will give me a chance to sample the MJ make up line for the first time, the Buxom Divine Goddess Luminizer looks seriously stunning and I can’t wait to play with the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Stained Gloss and the Stila Magnificent Metals Foil Finish Eye Shadow.
The best part about each of these sets? They won’t break the bank. The Meet Your Match set was just $25, while the Summer Stash set came in at $45. A pretty perfect price to pay if you ask me – particularly as both sets are worth more than double that combined total. *Smug face*
