MAC was one of the first high end beauty brands that I fell in love with. I remember so clearly my first few purchases from MAC – many of which I still use and love today.

And what is it, I hear you ask, that has inspired this trip down MAC memory lane? Well last week, with a few minutes to spare on my lunch break, I went wondering in to my local MAC store to help a friend pick up a new lipstick and ended up picking up a couple of my personal favourite products in the process.

First up, I picked up a new MAC 217 eyeshadow brush. This bad boy has been a firm staple in my brush line-up for years thanks to its great tapered shape and fluffy texture which makes blending shadows into the crease an absolute dream. It’s by far my favourite shadow brush and I’ve been wanting to pick up a second one for ages.

The next purchase was actually one of my first ever MAC products, the MAC Peach Blossom LipstickThe peachy pink shade is incredibly wearable and the cremesheen formula is really nourishing so it’s the perfect pick for day-to-day wear. Peach Blossom was – if I remember correctly – the first lipstick I ever finished and I can’t think why I didn’t repurchase it way back when. Needless to say I’m thrilled to have it back in my stash.

Do you guys have any favourite MAC products?
