After years of resisting this cult summer fragrance, I finally gave in and snapped up a bottle of the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche SkinscentNow for some reason, I had it in my head that this scent smelt like tacky suncream – and it’s for this reason that I had, until now, avoided it like the plague. But after seeing so many rave reviews on Twitter, Instagram and other blogs, I couldn’t resist the chance to give it another whiff during a recent trip to Boots.

Oh my, am I glad I did. Because this golden beauty smells quite literally like summer in a bottle. It’s warm, it’s coconutty and I’m pretty positive that there’s a faint tangy taste of sea air in there. Just me?! Whatever scents you pick up when you spritz the scent, I think anyone would find it hard not to find themselves feeling a bit more bright and summery. Even during the past few days of rain, I’ve manage to keep a summery spring in my step thanks to this coconutty fragrance.

And if my less-than-detailed description wasn’t enough for you, the official perfume description describes a blend of Bergamot, warm Amber, Tiare Flower, vanilla and delicious creamy coconut and the end result is just amazing – it’s not a wonder this bad boy sells out each and every time it’s released.

There are however a few bottles still available out there – Debenhams, House of Fraser and my local Boots (Westfield and High St Kensington) have all had them in stock this week so if you’re eager to get your hands on one, get out there ASAP as they do tend to get snapped up pretty sharpish. And while you’re at it, check out the rest of the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess collection too; the bronzer and the eyeshadow palette look particularly appealing in my opinion…!
