Now I know I’m a little bit behind on the times with this announcement but for any of you that may have missed out – Tarte has arrived on UK shores ladies and gentlemenIt has arrived. Sold exclusively through QVC, the US-based beauty brand has brought an amazing capsule collection of its best and brightest products and I wanted to share some of my favourites with y’all.

I’ll start off with the product(s) that first introduced me to the brand all those years ago, the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush. There are so many amazing things to say about these that I don’t even know where to start. From the amazing pigmentation and long-lasting staying power to the beautifully blendable formula and the incredible range of shades, these are without a doubt some of my favourite ever blushes – as you can probably see from the impressive collection that I’ve managed to build up!

Next up is a product that is more new to me – and one which I only picked up after Tarte had become available here in the UK. Now I know I probably didn’t need another neutral eyeshadow palette, but I don’t really think you can blame me – I mean just look at the Tarte Amazonian Clay Sultry Sunset Eyeshadow PaletteIt is a thing of true beauty. Just like the blushes, the formula and pigmentation of these shadows is brilliant, as is the staying power, and I am just loving using it. Even the packaging is perfect.

Another fairly new addition is my Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 MascaraNow according to the description, this mascara promises not one but four lash benefits, from curling and lengthening to volumising and conditioning. While I’m not sure it’s quite able to do all four, it certainly adds some pretty impressive length and volume to my lashes – without feeling heavy or clumpy. I’m slightly undecided about the leather-look packaging at the moment but on the whole I’m pretty impressed with the product inside!

Last up is the Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick Trioa selection of three mini lipsticks that are so delightfully buttery upon application I couldn’t quite believe it wasn’t a silky smooth lip balm that I was whacking on. In terms of pigmentation, they aren’t the most vibrant you’ll ever see, however they have a good colour payoff which blends out into a stain-like look after an hour or so of wear, leaving you lips with a lovely long-lasting hit of colour. Plus they have a brilliant minty-fresh scent that gives lips that lovely tingly feeling that makes them look that bit more plump and pouty. D’you know what I mean?

A lot of these products are, quite understandably, already back-ordered, but do make sure you pop over to the QVC website if you’re interested in ordering any for yourself. Needless to say I may already have a few more coming in the post…

  1. You lucky ladies, in Belgium we need to wait ages for new make up brands and collections!

    1. QVC might ship to Europe! You should have a look on the website. What Belgian brands do you like to use? xx

      1. We pay import tax on make up when it is shipped internationally, between €30- 40! Which is too steep for my liking. I’m probably most jealous of Sephora shipping to the UK, sure we can order from the French Sephora, but the brand selection is a lot smaller.
As for Belgian brands, I don’t use any Belgian make up, I make do with what I find in the drugstore and department stores, online and I always try to visit make up shops when I’m traveling 🙂 Not that I have a lack of make up, I’d just love to try out some brands I’ve heard great things about.
