* bright sunny skies *

The five best bits: can we please talk about the weather? The sunshine this week has been absolutely superb and I just can’t get enough of it + the new Yves Saint Laurent movie is just stunning. I was lucky enough to attend a preview screening last week and the film is just epic + an afternoon – and an evening – of lacrosse watching, food, drink and friends to bid a fond farewell to Gabs after her visit. It was so nice to have her here and I’m so sad that she’s gone + a party in the Tate Modern Turbine Hall complete with a bouncy castle. It was so cool and I had such a good night (Happy Birthday Mission) + the launch of the new Karl Lagerfeld store on Regent Street. There are little Karls everywhere – even embroidered onto the shirts! – but none could compare to the main man himself who remains one of the most stylish gentlemen around

Beauty product pick of the week: I’ve fallen back in love with the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in recent weeks and it has returned to its top spot as my favourite in-bag concealing staple thanks to its long-lasting formula and creamy texture

On the agenda: enjoying what sunny days we have left and a trip home later in the week, hurrah

News flash: yesterday’s sporting action was just superb. From football to rugby to lacrosse, there was something to satisfy every sportsfan out there (yes I’m a nerd)

Pause for thought: doesn’t the sunshine just put you in a much better mood? Everything seems better and brighter and it seems so much easier to keep smiling. Lad di da

I hope you all have a lovely week!

    The weather makes such a difference, I love hearing the birds chirp and noticing the colours of the flowers.
