For the last instalment of my Spring Edit series, I’m making a move away from beauty – shock horror – in favour of fashion.

I’ve always been a big fan of accessorising and have built up a pretty impressive collection of jewellery, scarves, bags, sunglasses and even a few interesting hair bits and pieces over the years. I love it when the weather gets a bit warmer and we can start abandoning the heavier knits and embracing lighter layered scarves and lighter, brighter colours. There’s nothing like a thin patterned scarf to add a bit of colour to an outfit. I do always like to keep a chunkier scarf on hand – like this bright turquoise snood – in case of some more adverse weather conditions. It is England after all. Bright colours can also be found in many of my favourite Springtime bags, like this neon coral creation from Next which I love.

Jewellery-wise, I’ve started experimenting more with mixing metals in recent weeks, layering gold and silver rings, bracelets and necklaces and pairing them with some of my favourite jewellery pieces, a lot of which include a bit of turquoise in one way or another thanks to my unwavering obsession with the stone. Claire’s offer an amazing selection of rings, from stacking collections to bigger statement pieces, and I always have a few of their pieces stashed away in my collection. Current favourites include my rose gold eternity ring and my gold chevron ring. Mix those with my beloved Monica Vinader stacking rings and I’m ready to roll with a pretty impressive handful of ring bling. I’ve also developed a huge addiction to ear cuffs in recent weeks – thanks in large part to my friend Lilah who has a very impressive collection – and I’ve snapped up quite a few to add to my Spring accessories stash. Etsy is brilliant for ear cuffs, as is Claire’s.

Add to all of that a few pairs of sunglasses – I like to have one expensive pair (which are Ray Bans) and a cheaper pair (Claire’s) so that I’m prepared for all occasions – and a few flowery hair accessories – I’ve now built up quite the collection thanks to the impressive selection available at Topshop, Accessorize and H&M – and my Springtime accessories stash in complete. Now all I need is for the sun to hang around…
