Paris1

Paris2

As some of you may have seen from my Twitter account, I’m off to Paris bright and early this morning for a flying trip to the French capital with the lovely ladies at Claire’s. It’s a super speedy visit – we’re jus there for the night – but we’re cramming in quite a lot of action into that time so I wanted to make sure that I packed a variety of make up that would be suitable for every occasion.

Kicking off with the base, we have some firm favourites, the Garnier 5 Second Perfect Blur, the MaxFactor Face Finity All Day Flawless 3-in-1 Foundation, the Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Concealer and the Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot to keep the whole look feeling fresh and in place.

For bronzer, blusher and eyeshadow I’m turning one again to my much-loved Laura Mercier Laura’s Colour Favourites Palettewhich is so handy for travel because of its slimline packaging and all-in-one versatility. I’ve thrown in the Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in On & On Bronze as an eye base just in case but other than that I’m completely covered with the one palette. I’m also taking along my Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder to give a lovely glow on the go.

To finish off the eyes, I’ve packed my trusty Rimmel ScandalEyes Kohl Kajals – both a nude and a basic brown – as well as my Topshop Magic Liquid LinerI’ve also thrown in my By Terry Ombre Blackstar in Bronze Moonwhich I’ve been neglecting of late so I thought it could do with an outing. Then for brows, it’s the Maybelline MasterBrow Pencil in Blonde. For mascara, it’s another firm favourite in the form of the Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara

Last but not least, we move on to the lips and I’ve managed to keep it down to just two options! For a daytime/casual look, it’s MAC Plumful and for a ramped up nighttime red, I’ve got the L’Oreal Colour Riche Extraordinaire Liquid Lipstick in Ruby Opera

So there you have it, my entire Paris make up stash. À bientôt mes amis.
