I know I’m a bit late to the party with this one but lately I’ve found myself snapping up pretty much every rose gold product out there. I can’t get enough of that beautiful rose gold sheen and have already formed quite the collection of stunning gilded rosy products. Bizarrely, I don’t own a huge amount of rose gold jewellery – mainly because I can’t really afford the real stuff, donations welcome, and a lot of the fake stuff turns my skin green… – but what I lack in bling I make up for in beauty.

Without a doubt, the product which kicked off my rose gold obsession is the Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo in Pink Gold. It’s the perfect colour to slick on when you want a totally subtle look and the gold shimmer adds the perfect warmth to your lids. The L’Oreal Colour Appeal Eyeshadow in Golden Rosea seriously shimmery shadow that packs a pretty impressive amount of glitter… Despite that, it can be used to add a beautiful pinky gold sheen to your eyes, provided you apply with a light hand.

The Soap & Glory Glow It All Out is the perfect rose gold highlighter in my opinion. It adds the ideal amount of sheen to your cheeks, gives the complexion an amazing radiance and doesn’t contain even the smallest amount of over-the-top glitter. Similarly the new Revlon Highlighting Palette in Rose Glow gives a seriously pretty dewy glow to the skin. Just a week after purchasing, I’m already hooked. Plus it’s a pretty excellent dupe for the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick FYI. My favourite blusher of late has been the Sleek Blush in Rose Goldwhich adds an amazing gilded flush to your cheeks, creating the perfect amount of radiance without any unwanted sparkle.

Last but not least, it’s on to the lips and the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Gloss in Blondiea shimmery dusty rose gold gloss that plumps lips while adding a (non-sticky) shimmery sheen. Plus the rose gold hardware on the packaging adds a beautiful bit of bling to my make up bag. Win win.

The one product currently evading my grasp is the perfect rose gold nail polish… Any ideas? It seems a shame not to completely my collection!

I know Sally Hansen has a rose gold nail polish but I’ve been having trouble finding it in stores. I love the color tattoos so I think I’ll be heading to the store to buy Pink Gold. It looks so pretty!

    1. Sadly the Sally Hansen one was limited edition! I’ve been searching on eBay but they’re all so expensive…. Still tempted though! Xxx

  2. I love the sleek brush it’s so pretty and unique 🙂
