The five best bits: a night out with friends on Thursday – first to the launch of Tanya Burr’s Lips and Nails collection and then on to the launch of DNA London, a new nightclub in Clapham. It was a whole heap of fun, despite the headache on Friday morning… + an impromptu trip to Cirque de Soleil’s Quidam show. Despite already seeing it, I was bowled over by the performance + getting the chance to hang out with my brother. It happens really rarely and it was actually quite enjoyable! + some belated birthday cards which kept me smiling throughout the week + a wander round Liberty in between work meetings. It was the perfect way to spend 20 free minutes

Beauty product pick of the week: has to be the NARSissist Eyeshadow PaletteHoly moly that bad boy is just beautiful

On the agenda: Superbowl fun this evening, followed by what I think will be a pretty manic week… OH YEAH and an appointment with Caroline Hirons *does happy dance*

News flash: I’m really struggling with some serious tiredness at the moment. No matter how much sleep I get, I’m still exhausted every morning when I wake up. Any ideas y’all?

Pause for thought: sometimes in life there are situations that you just can’t control, y’know? It’s easy to forget but so important to try not to let ’em get to you. Given the previous statement re tiredness it’s not worth wasting any energy on unnecessary stress

I hope you all have a lovely week!

  1. I’m completely exhausted too! I really do think it’s the weather, as cliche as that sounds, but I felt SO great this weekend when the sun was out! I’ve heard of vitamin D throat sprays that are supposed to combat SAD. Or book a holiday! xx

    1. A holiday would be amazing! I’ve ramped up my Vitamin D intake in the hopes that it might help but I’ve never heard of the throat spray so might give that a go….! Xxx
