That’s right ladies and gents, it is that time of year once again. Whip out your festive knitwear, find yourself a Christmassy crew neck and embrace Save the Children’s wonderful Christmas Jumper Day.

As you can see, this year I’ve taken a slightly different approach to the traditional knitted jumper usually associated with Christmas and have instead opted for what I like to call Christmas Pudding Plonker chic. You like? Whatever jumper you opt for – be it something super snazzy and upmarket (Markus Lupfer has some great high-end offerings) or something downright ridiculous (guilty) – the important thing is that everyone is coming together to do something fun and festive in order to raise money for a truly worthy cause.

The amazing thing is that you can still support the charity, even if you remain jumper-less throughout the day. Perhaps you could find your nearest Christmas jumper-clad participant and sponsor their festivity with a cheeky donation, or you might want to head over to the Save the Children website and make your own donation. Whatever the method, whatever the amount, any donation will be warmly welcomed.

Happy #xmasjumperday to all – and to all a good #xmasjumperday!
