Haul2

Haul1

I’ve never been one to turn down a good deal, particularly when it comes to beauty purchases, so when Space NK launched another gift with purchase event, I couldn’t wait to partake.

There have been plenty o blog posts about the gift itself in recent weeks – if you’ve missed them, make sure you check out the details here, here or here – so I thought I’d cut straight to the actual purchases and share with you some of the items that I picked up. Now there are a few Christmas presents in there that I don’t want to post up here for fear of friends and family getting a sneak peek at what might be waiting for them under the tree come Christmas Day, but other than that, this is pretty much all of it…

Adding to my ever-increasing stash of Christmas supplies, I leapt on the chance to snap up a Laura Mercier Warm Roasted Chestnuts Luxe Signature Candle. Christmas isn’t Christmas without this sweet and spicy fragrance and I find it so sad that they sell out so quickly every year. Roasted chestnuts with a hint of cinnamon spice, these aren’t to be missed if you’re in search of a festive fragrance for your home…

Another sweet scent added to the basket is Diptyque Eau Duelle. I was given a sample size of this fragrance in a goody bag a few months ago and was devastated when it ran out. A rich and spicy vanilla scent with sweet honey notes, this is a truly unique and sophisticated fragrance and I just can’t get enough *spritzes liberally* It’s just a same it’s so ruddy expensive…

I’m going to blame this next purchase on Amelia from Liana Beauty who wrote a glowing review of the Laura Mercier Colour-to-Go Portable Palette just a few days before I hit purchase on this order. Just one quick peek at her post and I was sold. Three beautiful eyeshadows – including a beautifully buttery matte shade and an lovely shimmer – a cake eyeliner, a bronzer and blusher and a lipgloss, this palette has everything you might need for life on-the-go – explains the name, huh?

Last but not least, I stocked up on two old favourites, the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector  although I’ve made the move from Pearl to the pinkier toned Pearl shade – and the Caudalie Beauty Elixir which has had a rather snazzy makeover courtesy of designer L’Wrren Scott.

Needless to say I’ll be eating beans for the rest of the month – maybe even the year?! – but boy was it worth it. It’s a pretty super stash of products if I do say so myself…

  1. Everything looks so good! Beans or ramen noodles? Still worth it.
