I’m a huge fan of Soap & Glory – their Breakfast Scrub is one of my go-to shower favourites – but despite boasting an impressive selection of their skincare, my make-up collection was sadly lacking in soapy glory, a situation which had to be rectified as soon as I laid eyes on their amazing range of powders.
Given that I have enough blusher and bronzer to last me several lifetimes – although the Soap & Glory offerings did look pretty ace – I opted instead for One Heck of a Blot, a translucent mattifying powder that promises to absorb any excess oil, smooth and soften skin and rid your face of any unwanted shine. Sounds like a winner to me.
And what a winner it is. Unlike many of its fellow drugstore alternatives, this bad boy does everything it promises on the packaging – and more. After just a swift sweep of my brush (I use the Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Face Brush) my skin feels so much softer, my complexion is cleared of any shine and my face remains matte – without feeling cakey or dry – all the live long day.
Additionally, this POWder also has the added effect of ensuring that my make-up remains in place and pretty much perfect for the entirety of the day. What a treat.
What do you guys think of the Soap & Glory make-up range? Have you tried any of the powders?
