* heading off for some fun in the sun *

The five best bits: picnic in the park with some truly lovely ladies + attending Stanley Johnson’s book launch party on Wednesday night. Fun people, lots of interesting conversations and far too much wine + a delightful Boris bike ride through central London, including a wonderful trip through Hyde Park + starting a new book. I used to be a big reader but lately I just haven’t had the time to sink my teeth into a good book. Desperate to read the new Dan Brown however, I’ve made as much time as I can + making plans for next weekend’s Bluesfest. It’s going to be the best weekend ever.

On the agenda: Fingers are tightly crossed that the sun hangs around for Bluesfest next weekend. Lacrosse, parties, fancy dress and alcohol; what more could you ask for?!

News flash: Vitamin D works wonders for your general disposition. Just a day in the sunshine and already I feel brighter, happier and healthier.

Pause for thought: I’m feeling pretty gross at the moment; fitness, general health, skin, all of them are decidedly less than ideal. Any suggestions for a complete body overhaul are most welcome.
