ShowerStaplesWith a bathroom cupboard full to the brim of numerous lotions, potions and products, I know that a beauty item has truly hit the spot when it works its way into my day-to-day shower routine, beating out all other options in order to claim a permanent position on the shower shelf.

I tend to chop and change my shower staples every couple of months and I wanted to share with you all the products that I’m currently loving using. First up, shampoo and conditioner. I’ve been using the Kerastase Age Recharge Shampoo for a few months now and could not be happier with the results. Since adding this into my regular haircare routine my barnet has been happier, healthier and much stronger

Conditioner-wise, I recently switched to the Ojon Damage Reverse Conditioner having heard so many wonderful things about it from my fellow bloggers. While the price is slightly high (I think it retails at about £22 per bottle), I really can’t imagine going back to anything different. It truly is a revolutionary product and leaves my hair feeling softer than it has in years. This is definitely something that will be hanging around in my shower for a while to come.

The final staple in my haircare routine is the Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash, a shower-friendly version of my beloved TT hairbrush that makes masque application far more efficient and easy.

A fairly new addition to my beauty line-up is the Soap & Glory Breakfast Scrub, an amazingly sweet-smelling scrub that leaves skin feeling soft and smooth without any harsh drying effects. The formula for this super scrub was recently altered and it now comes complete with an amazing maple syrup scent that makes this product smell quite literally good enough to eat. Sugary sweet and warm, this truly is the best breakfast scent you could ever ask for in a shower product. YUM.

Having soaked myself in sweetness, I turn to my new Radox Cherry Blast Shower Gel (c/o), a fresh and fruity soap that nourishes and moisturises skin while leaving it feeling squeaky clean and soft. So simple, yet so effective, this shower staple is also a firm favourite with G.

Moving on to skincare, while I tend to rotate my face wash routine depending on how my skin is feeling day to day, without a doubt my fallback favourites are the Bioderma Sebium Purifying and Foaming Cleanser and the Origins Never a Dull Moment Skin Brightening Face Polisher. Both are reliable, effective and work really well to keep my blemishes at bay. Perfect for those days when I can’t be bothered to think about how to best sort my face out.

Last but not least is the Venus and Olay Razor; while I know that this might be a slightly odd one to mention, I couldn’t pass up the chance to sing its praises. I’m usually of the opinion that no one razor is better than another, but these razor blades, complete with two Olay moisturser bars make shaving so much easier and more comfortable than I’ve ever experienced in the past. Definitely worth investing in if you’re in the need for a new one and I believe the range is currently on offer in Boots… (quick! Run, buy!)

So there you have it, my current shower staples. What are your favourite products to use in the shower? Anything you think I should check out?
