I’m a huge nail polish person and I absolutely love experimenting with new colours, products, formulas (formulae?) and styles. So when I was given this amazing little collection of polishes as an early Christmas present – thanks H & A! – I did a little leap of joy, particularly when I saw the festive red and gold combination glittering prettily in their packaging.

As with many amazing beauty products, this collection of four 3.75ml bottles is limited edition and from the looks of things, supplies are quickly running out. So, I wanted to get in there ASAP while stock is still available and share my thoughts on this delightful colour collection with you.

Each of the four shades included in the Bondettes Collection – Goldeneye (bright gold), The Spy Who Loved Me (bright red), The World is Not Enough (rosy pink, grey/silver) and Live and Let Die (deep blue with flecks of gold) – are  shimmery shades that give a beautiful metallic finish; no large chunks of glitter in sight.

As with the majority of OPI polishes, the formula is fantastic and applies easily to leave a chip-resistant, quick-drying, glossy finish. As you may have noticed in my previous Christmas post, I couldn’t wait until the big day itself before using Goldeneye and The Spy Who Loved Me; they were the perfect picks for my pre-Christmas nail session and lasted perfectly through until Boxing Day.

My nails are currently covered in a bright turquoise glitter – perfect for tonight’s rave-themed New Year’s Eve celebrations – but I’m already looking forward to testing out the other two Bondette colours and will be sure to share my thoughts on the shades early in the New Year.

For now, I hope you all have brilliant evenings celebrating the start of the New Year and I look forward to seeing you all in 2013!
